Julie Gilhespie is the former Group Chief Executive of Tees Valley Combined Authority. She has served as both Chief Executive and s73 (s151) during her time there and led on more than £1bn of projects in infrastructure, skills and other investment. As leader of a first phase Combined Authority, Julie was instrumental in establishing the Combined Authority and 3 Development Corporations, working with the elected mayor, local authority, private sector and other stakeholders to deliver real change in Tees Valley. Prior to this role, Julie has more than 15 years experience in delivering large scale public sector infrastructure projects as an adviser with Deloitte.
